Guaynabo adds Williams to their roster, ex Guangsha L.

Mets de Guaynabo (BSN) added 27-year-old USA international power forward Malik Williams (211cm-113kg-1998, college: Louisville) to their roster. He played last season with Zhejiang Guangsha Lions in the Chinese CBA league, where he averaged 3.5ppg, 2.0rpg, and 1.0apg in two games. Williams has also played for Lakers in the NBA G League and had a pre-season stint with the Hawks in the NBA. He was also tried out by Skyhawks in the NBA G League.
Williams is a highly experienced player, having played professionally in China, Poland (Anwil), NBA (Miami Heat and Toronto Raptors), NBA G League (Sioux Falls Skyforce and College Park SkyHawks), NBA Summer League (Milwaukee Bucks), and The Basketball Tournament (The Ville). His team reached the NBA G League Semifinals in 2026.
He graduated from the University of Louisville in 2022, and this will be his fifth season as a professional player.
